What to Expect

Sundays

Expect to be welcomed by a diverse group of people from many nations. Our Sunday gathering begins at 11am. There’s no dress code required nor do you need to know anything about the Bible.

We will guide you through the gathering and all the material we use will be on the overhead and a printed copy of the service is available. Even if you are coming to church for the first time you will be able to follow along. We never approach anyone directly to give money. All financial contributions are entirely voluntary. There is a discreet way to give by cash or card should you wish.

Our gathering is a mixture of traditional and modern forms. We sing, listen to the Bible read and explained, we use some set prayers and historic Christian summaries of faith, known as creeds. Bibles are provided for everyone to follow along. We have a kids programme available from about mid-way through the main gathering. This is an option and not a requirement! We don’t mind the sounds of little people throughout and they are welcome to stay in if you prefer.

We always have coffee, tea and various goodies after the more formal time ends and people usually stay for another hour or so to chat.
